Course summary

Taught by award-winning authors with specialisms in fiction, poetry, non-fiction and scriptwriting, this course is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn the craft of creative writing and explore the theory behind it. If you have already completed a taught master's degree, the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing could be the next step for you, allowing you to pursue a project that you are passionate about. The academic team will work closely with you to develop your writing, and you will approach projects in ways that best suit your individual learning style while you work towards an original and engaging manuscript.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)

To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:
