Course summary

The Graduate Course in Medicine integrates core medical science with clinical medicine, with an emphasis on the development of clinical skills through direct patient contact in hospital and community environments throughout East Anglia. Open to graduates of any discipline, successful completion of the accelerated Graduate Course leads to the MB, BChir degrees in four years. Please note that it's not possible to apply for deferred entry to this course.

Entry requirements

Qualification requirements

The Graduate Course in Medicine (A101) is open to applicants who hold a good Honours degree (2.1 or above) in any discipline (science subjects are most useful) and who satisfy the A Level/IB Higher Level (or equivalent) subject requirements. All applicants need to complete the specific Graduate Course in Medicine application form in addition to their UCAS application. It's not possible to apply for deferred entry to the Graduate Course in Medicine. See further information at: www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/courses/medicine-graduate-course. Other qualifications at a level equivalent to A Levels and IB Higher Levels are also accepted, including Scottish Advanced Highers, Welsh qualifications, the Irish Leaving Certificate, and a range of European and overseas qualifications.
