Course summary

If you’re interested in developing and improving team performance, our Elite Coaching Practice course is for you. It’s the result of an exciting collaboration between us and Pentagon Sport, to produce the first endorsed level 4 UK Coaching Certificate. You’ll develop your critical understanding of the theories and practice of sports coaching and acquire a range of intellectual, professional, managerial and transferable skills that are essential for the modern sports coach. You’ll either be focusing on the development of the very best performers, and maximising their potential in competition, or looking at how athletes develop, from children to elite adults. Emphasis throughout the programme is on developing your critical reflective and analytical skills from both a theoretical and applied perspective. Why study with us

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a 2:2 degree or equivalent professional experience or learning in a related field. Applications from all candidates will be considered on their merits in the light of the nature and scope of the programme and if they have experience in the sports industry. A detailed admissions procedure will be forwarded on application. IELTS: Score of 6.5 with no component below 6.0.
