Assessment method
To cater for the wide-ranging content of our courses and the varied learning preferences of our students, we offer a range of assessment methods on each programme. Assessment techniques vary from module to module to reflect relevant assessment approaches and the key learning points of each topic. Assessment methods on this course include: interactive problem solving exercises, oral presentations in front of a peer group, coursework and essays, in some cases combined with oral defence. The dissertation is a substantial piece of research, submitted in a written thesis format, followed by a viva voce before Biomechanics staff.
Entry requirements
-a minimum 2.1 honours degree in physiotherapy, physical sciences, sport or another relevant discipline which has a substantial biomechanics component at level 6 Additional Information: -RPL is accepted on this programme -International students entering on a Tier 4 visa cannot study part-time -International students who have applied to study a full-time taught Masters, MRes, MPhil or PhD at LJMU, you should check if you require an Academic Technology Approval Scheme or ATAS certificate.
