In the foundation year, you’ll attain the academic and practical skills required which will enable you to progress onto the first year of your degree course, provided the relevant progression criteria are met. You will build your confidence in Biology, Engineering, Chemistry and Maths, and apply your theoretical knowledge in practical lab sessions. Modules will include: • Introductory Mathematics • Intermediate Mathematics • Foundation Science • Foundation Engineering • Practical and Professional Skills Our Mechanical Engineering courses are highly practical and use real examples and projects from industry.
