Course summary
The Geospatial Engineering MPhil and PhD at Newcastle University aims to foster, promote and conduct research of international quality. We attract high-quality graduates and researchers and train them to international standards. Our research has significant relevance in non-academic settings. We often apply it through consultancy to industry. This includes:
- the global offshore industry
- local authorities
- engineering and surveying companies.
Entry requirements
A 2:1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in a relevant subject. However, combinations of the following can be taken into consideration: undergraduate qualifications masters qualifications relevant work experience. Please contact us if you wish to discuss your individual circumstances. International Students: Direct Entry : IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills) If you have lower English Language scores, you may be accepted onto a pre-sessional English course.
