Wrth ddewis astudio BA Creu Perfformio ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth cewch brofiad creadigol a bywiog heb ei ail. Byddwch yn astudio mewn adeilad modern sy’n cynnig cyfleusterau gwych, a staff brwdfrydig fydd yn eich ysbrydoli. Cewch ymwneud â phartneriaid megis y BBC, S4C, Boom, Fiction Factory, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch a llu o rhai eraill. Mae’r cwrs yma wedi ei gynllunio i sicrhau fod cydbwysedd rhwng profiad beirniadol a chreadigol, ac mi fydd yn eich galluogi i ddatblygu eich sgiliau deallusol, perfformiadol a thechnegol. Cyflogadwyedd Mae cyflogadwyedd yn rhan annatod o’n holl weithgareddau. Byddwch yn dysgu sgiliau gwerthfawr y mae galw mawr amdanynt ymhlith cyflogwyr. Yn eu plith mae: gweithio’n effeithiol mewn grŵp i ddatblygu, ymarfer a chynhyrchu perfformiadau byw; defnyddio sgiliau creadigol, dyfeisgar a sgiliau datrys problemau mewn amryw o sefyllfaoedd; ymchwilio, cloriannu a threfnu gwybodaeth; saernïo a chyfleu syniadau’n effeithiol mewn amryw o sefyllfaoedd ac mewn amryw o ffyrdd; gweithio’n annibynnol a gydag eraill; trefnu'ch amser a defnyddio'ch sgiliau’n effeithiol; gwrando ar gyngor beirniadol a’i ddefnyddio; eich cymell eich hun ac arfer hunanddisgyblaeth; defnyddio amryw o sgiliau ac adnoddau technoleg gwybodaeth; dangos mentergarwch wrth ddatblygu prosiectau diwylliannol. Bydd y crynodeb isod yn rhoi darlun i chi o'r hyn y mae'n bosib y byddwch yn ei astudio yn ystod y cynllun gradd tair blynedd. Y flwyddyn gyntaf:

  • dulliau cyfoes o greu theatr mewn stiwdio ac ar safle penodol
  • enydau, arferion a dulliau hanesyddol allweddol ym maes drama a’r theatr
  • dadansoddi drama, theatr a pherfformio.
Yr ail flwyddyn:
  • dulliau cyfoes o greu theatr o safbwynt ymarferol, hanesyddol a damcaniaethol
  • gwaith cynhyrchu ar raddfa lawn
  • actio, cyfarwyddo a dramayddiaeth, dyfeisio, a dylunio
  • datblygiad y Theatr Ewropeaidd fodern
  • Shakespeare mewn perfformiadau cyfoes
  • theatr a’r gymdeithas gyfoes
  • y cyfryngau newydd ac ysgrifennu ar gyfer perfformio.
Y flwyddyn olaf:
  • creu gwaith creadigol annibynnol
  • cwblhau prosiect ymchwil mawr ac astudiaethau damcaniaethol uwch
  • meithrin eich sgiliau mewn prosiectau cynhyrchu unigol ac mewn grŵp
  • datblygu'ch sgiliau mentergarwch drwy gynhyrchu a churadu digwyddiadau diwylliannol
  • ysgrifennu sgript i'ch drama eich hun
  • astudio modiwlau arbenigol a all ymdrin â phynciau megis: gofod, lle a thirwedd, perfformio ac athroniaeth, perfformio, gwleidyddiaeth a phrotest, theatr, rhywedd a rhywioldeb, perfformio a phensaernïaeth, theatr gerddorol newydd, a’r ddrama gyfoes ym Mhrydain ac Iwerddon.

A minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent) English or Welsh is a requirement for entry to all our degree schemes. Business, Mathematics, Psychology and Science degree schemes also require a minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent).

The UK and Welsh Governments have confirmed that EU students commencing their studies in the academic year 2021/22 will no longer be eligible for home fee status.
