Course summary
This course will appeal to individuals who wish to enhance their knowledge of lean and agile operations. Aimed at students who have a first degree in engineering, manufacturing, logistics and supply chain management, it also helps experienced managers supplement their knowledge. The programme has a strong focus on operations management in both industrial and service sectors. The master's programme focuses strongly on application of ideas and continuous improvement, with assessments based on real issues. Students will also acquire the knowledge expected of a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Assessment method
Assessment on the master's programme is a mixture of written assessments, examinations and presentations. A typical assessment could be asking you to investigate a problem and make suggestions for improvement using tools and techniques you learned in a particular module or across the programme.
Entry requirements
We normally require an Honours degree of 2:1 or above classification in an appropriate based discipline.
