Course summary
The course covers the intricate politics, institutions, law and policies of the European Union. The international and global political context in which the EU operates is also addressed. As a student on this European Union Studies master's you'll develop knowledge of three central themes:
- European integration
- public policy in the EU
- the EU as an international actor
- social science methods and methodologies, international and regional studies politics
- analysis, evaluation and interpretation of principal source materials
- planning, conducting and communicating original research.
Entry requirements
A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent. Degrees from all disciplines will be considered. We will also consider your application on an individual basis if you have lower or non-standard qualifications and relevant professional experience.
