Course description Our four-year BSc Business & Management course, with an integrated placement year, will give you a comprehensive understanding of the various functions of management, whilst allowing you the opportunity to focus your studies within specific areas. You will develop the breadth and depth of knowledge required by managers in the 21st century. This degree provides you with the theoretical knowledge base and practical management skills to ensure that you are fully prepared for the demands of senior management. With its combination of broad-based and specialist knowledge alongside the placement year, this degree offers a route into general management as well as specialist areas such as accounting, marketing and market research, administration, banking and finance/economics, human resources and operations management. Modules

This degree aims to provide you with the theoretical knowledge base and also the practical management skills to ensure that you are fully prepared for the demands of senior management. After a broad-based common first year you then choose four core modules in which you wish to concentrate your studies in your second and final years. You will spend your third year in a professional placement or you may choose to take up an international study opportunity at one of our partner institutions.
