Course description Aston’s Business and Management BSc will provide you with an understanding of the various functions of management, alongside the opportunity to specialise in areas of business that interest you, preparing you for a successful management career. You will gain a solid foundation in your first year across a breadth of business topics before shaping your second and final years to concentrate your study on particular specialisms. You can gain professional accreditations and exemptions in many of these career paths and you’ll also undertake a placement year to put your learning into practice. Modules

This degree aims to provide you with the theoretical knowledge base and also the practical management skills to ensure that you are fully prepared for the demands of senior management. After a broad-based common first year you then choose four core modules in which you wish to concentrate your studies in your second and final years. You will spend your third year in a professional placement or you may choose to take up an international study opportunity at one of our partner institutions.
