The programme provides a solid background in Christian theology for students planning to go on to do research in theology and other relevant fields as well as to be of interest for people who wish to devote a year to more in-depth, focused and critical study of the Bible and theology.

Assessment method
The MA is assessed at Levels 6 and 7 and you’re required gain 180 credits: 120 through taught modules and 60 through a 15,000-word dissertation.

International applicants
International students need to have an IELTS (International English Language Test Score) of 7 and the English language test must have been taken within the last two years.
Entry requirements
Either: A first-class or upper-second degree in theology or a closely related discipline; a Graduate Diploma in theology; a first-class or upper-second degree in a non-theological discipline plus a Certificate in Theology with an overall average of at least 60 per cent.
