Course summary
This course offers you a wide ranging and rigorous introduction to the various facets of information technology. It offers a pathway for people who don’t hold the qualifications to enter directly onto a degree, and gives you the experience to make an informed decision about which course to study. Completion qualifies you to enter onto any one of the following degrees: • Business Information Systems • Computer and Network Technology • Computer Animation and VFX • Computer Games Design and Production • Computer Science • Digital and Computer Forensics • Ethical Hacking for Computer Security • Information Technology Management for Business • Web Design and Development With a ratio of one staff member to every 10 students, up to 15 hours contact a week and evaluation through continuous assessment, you will be fully supported throughout the course which helps build valuable life and learning skills alongside your IT knowledge. Subjects are varied and include a popular and engaging music production module, plus Mac OS applications.
