Course summary
This BA (Hons) Event Management degree is highly practical and provides you with a perfect blend of core management and specialist event management knowledge and skills to be successful in the industry. You will have the opportunity to attend guest lectures and events, organise live events and participate in course related study trips. A unique and focal aspect of the course is the opportunity to gain real world industry experience and build strong industry links through the development of your Industry Experience Portfolio (IEP). You can tailor your portfolio to the industry of your choice. In your third and final year you will apply your knowledge to plan, manage and analyse your own event for local charities in the Live Festival Management and Live Client modules.

Entry requirements for advanced entry (i.e. into Year 2 and beyond)
Entry to Year 2 may be possible for students who have completed a relevant Events Management HNC. Entry to Year 3 may be possible for students who have completed a relevant Events Management HND. All other applicants who are interested in applying for advanced entry will be considered on an individual basis.
