This programme provides a solid theoretical and empirical grounding in International Relations. You will study the ideas, actors, and structures which shape and influence the world we live in. You can choose from a range of specialist modules allowing you to structure the course largely according to your own interests, choosing topics such as:

  • international organisations
  • security and foreign policy
  • international political economy
  • Chinese, African, Middle Eastern, Russian, or US politics
You can undertake, and report on, an independently conducted research exercise and you’ll have the opportunity to study abroad at one of our partner institutions across the world.
