Course summary
Course Overview The BSc(Hons) Games Technology is a comprehensive program that equips students with the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary for a career in creative industries that use key games technologies. The course encompasses a multi-disciplinary approach, encompassing the technical and theoretical aspects of games engines and their use in industries as varied as film, medical, VR/AR and training. With a focus on the game development process, the program offers students an overview of the various domains within the industry, including narrative design, technical design, and games art pipelines. The course curriculum is designed to prepare students for careers in design and production within the games industry, and to impart a thorough understanding of the industry's production methodologies and business practices. The course is implemented using a Universal Design for Learning framework, which promotes inclusive education and accommodates the diverse needs of all students.
