This BSc (Hons) Medical Sciences (Final Year Entry) degree programme is for those with a Level 5 HND/Higher Diploma Programme in the biosciences. By studying this degree you will graduate with a BSc (Hons) Medical Sciences awarded by Oxford Brookes University. You will gain a sound understanding of medical aspects of the human body in health and disease as the course builds on core biomedical science subjects. Primarily taught by our teaching staff, some aspects are taught by health professionals from the local hospitals developing key skills and scientific knowledge employers need. A degree in Medical Sciences is the first step to a wide range of career opportunities in medical science, clinical science, healthcare management, clinical trials co-ordination and postgraduate study. Qualification requirements
Students will usually have achieved a Diploma of Higher Education with at least 55% or a Higher National Diploma with a Merit profile in a relevant discipline such as Applied Sciences (Biology) or Biomedical Science, or an equivalent relevant Level 5 qualification of 240 CATS subject to individual credit rating by Oxford Brookes University.
