Course summary
This PhD programme will engage you with internationally leading research within applied mathematics at the University of Dundee. Research areas include mathematical biology, magnetohydrodynamics and numerical analysis. Opportunities may also exist to explore projects in other areas of applied mathematics related to physics, computer vision, forensic science and engineering. Your 1st year will involve taught material and research rotations as appropriate to your academic background, before your final research project.
