Course summary

This course is for students wishing to enter the University of Dundee – EMBL Joint PhD Porgramme. Following review of the applicants’ dossier, the University will register students who have been accepted and enrolled into the EMBL International PhD programme in accordance with its Statutes. The research work will be conducted largely or exclusively at EMBL under the direct supervision of an EMBL faculty member. The University will nominate a member of its academic staff who will serve as an advisor. Students may be awarded the Doctoral degree (PhD) by the University of Dundee jointly with EMBL, subject to successful performance.


How to apply

International applicants

This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.
