Course summary

The study of sociology and criminology are interconnected. Sociology explores the workings of society and human behaviour while Criminology delves into who commits crime and why. Studying the two will allow you to explore sociological issues such as race, gender, poverty, education and youth and how these affect our attitudes and responses to crime and punishment.
