Course summary
The emphasis throughout the course is student centred, task orientated learning with plenty of scope for practical assignment work. Wherever possible the major individual projects, which are carried out in the final year, are to be industrially based with full involvement of industrial supervisors. This is a well-established, three year full-time course, that provides a thorough grounding in all aspects of electrical and electronic engineering and combines the hardware and software subject areas demanded by the industry. Graduates will be prepared for practice as incorporated engineers and the award will provide the learners with a sound basis for continuing education.
