About this course The course will cover the fundamentals of the business ecosystem and the key current and future aspects of developing marketing solutions in business. This area includes a focus on the different components of marketing, the purpose of marketing in a business context and how marketing can contribute to organisational success. It will also focus on the importance of data in making marketing decisions and the impact of digital technology on marketing. You will gain a strong foundation in all aspects of business with an opportunity to further develop your skills in marketing. Your broad background in business and management skills will prepare you for a range of graduate roles and sectors. A focus on marketing will give you an edge in the job market if you develop an interest in working in this field. This course is offered with a Foundation Year in Business The foundation year takes place the year before your degree. You will study at Kingston College and cover topics including professional skills, numerical concepts, business IT, marketing, customer care, and business law. Upon successful completion of this foundation year, you will progress to Year 1 of this degree. Future Skills Embedded within every course curriculum and throughout the whole Kingston experience, Future Skills will play a role in shaping you to become a future-proof graduate, providing you with the skills most valued by employers such as problem-solving, digital competency, and adaptability. As you progress through your degree, you'll learn to navigate, explore and apply these graduate skills, learning to demonstrate and articulate to employers how future skills give you the edge.
