Course summary

By combining History with French, German or Spanish you'll gain a good understanding of the history and cultures of European and North American countries from the Middle Ages to contemporary times. This diploma will enable you to communicate competently with speakers of your chosen language. In today's interconnected world, proficiency in a modern language opens doors to global opportunities. The name of your diploma will reflect your chosen language, such as the Diploma of Higher Education in History and French, showing your capabilities in both disciplines. Key features of the course

Modules

This diploma has two stages, each comprising 120 credits. In Stage 1, you’ll study a 60-credit introductory history module. You’ll choose your language and study two 30-credit language modules. Next, in Stage 2, you’ll study 60-credit modules in history and in your chosen language.
