Course summary
The MSc International Business will give you a deep understanding of the macro and micro contexts of international business, as you acquire, develop, and integrate international business theory, and build the skills needed to apply this to international business practice. Core management techniques are analysed from a global lens to understand their application and impact. You will gain expert knowledge and understanding of the political, social, and cultural aspects of business, focussing on the European Union, Asia, and the USA. The Masters dissertation provides the opportunity to conceive, design and write a substantial research project within the broad subject area of international business. You can choose to further specialise in Data Analytics or Human Resource Management learning which will be reflected in your degree title. The programme is designed for business studies graduates wishing to pursue a career in international business, mature students wishing to improve career options and develop expertise, and business practitioners wishing to acquire the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to enable them to compete in a rapidly developing and constantly evolving global business environment.
Assessment method
Assessment will be 100% coursework assessed. Typically this will include two formal written assignments per "taught" modules, plus contributions to regular discussion boards.
Entry requirements
Upper 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant management-related area from a recognised institution, or an equivalent academic or professional qualification; exceptional entry considered; interview may be required.
