Course summary

This study programme aims to extend scientific and professional knowledge in order to provide the skills needed to synthesise literature and research findings applicable to own discipline; to achieve the MSc learners need to complete a research dissertation.

Modules

Core modules: consultation and history taking; physical examination and diagnostics; biology and physiology; research methods and statistics; prescribing; fundamental and clinical pharmacology.

Assessment method

These include a dissertation.


Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree in a relevant subject and or mature student status with appropriate professional qualifications. IELTS: 7.0 (with no element below 7.0) is required.
