Course summary
This is an exciting two year programme that will develop learners skills to manage outdoor adventure facilities and enterprises to a high level of expertise. It will offer a great opportunity for students to increase their practical and management skills for entry into the industry. It will cover key aspects of the breadth of the industry, health and safety and outdoor education. Modules will include: Physical activity, health and lifestyle Outdoor Learning Risk and Safety Management The Sport Landscape as well as modules in Leadership, Operations Management, Coaching and Outdoor activities The second year will develop skills in: Entrepreneurship Activity programming Facilities management as well as modules in Adventure Tourism, advanced coaching and exercise physiology.
