It’ll prepare you to work in aircraft maintenance, airworthiness, aviation management, logistics, systems integration, design, support, manufacturing, and air transport economics. Studies include aerodynamics, propulsion, structures and materials science and the performance of aircraft. Through practical work in laboratories and workshops, you’ll apply the engineering principles you learn. This degree will also develop career skills such as effective communication, presentation, team-working, planning and project management.

Many instructional lectures have been replaced by active learning activities such as collaborative, problem-solving or enquiry-based learning workshops and tutorials. The assessment strategy has been designed to help students to learn and prepare them for employment, rather than just a tool to measure their learning. T Levels T Levels are an alternative to A levels, apprenticeships and other further education courses.
