About the course If you want to apply your physics skills to understanding the universe, this is the course for you. You’ll learn from experts working at the forefront of astrophysics, from exploring dark energy to starburst galaxies. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art equipment, including a rooftop optical, radio, and muon telescope. You’ll have opportunities to work alongside our world-leading faculty on ground-breaking discoveries, through your final year project and various research placement opportunities. Your integrated Masters year means you develop advanced astrophysics skills. You’ll be part of a close community – our lively Physics Society arranges regular social events. Our building is a real hub of activity. You’ll have all your practical sessions in our modern teaching laboratories.
