Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Association of Project Management and Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing, this exciting four-year course primes you with theoretical knowledge and practical skill set needed to create and oversee events, large and small. To succeed in events management you’ll need an expert grasp of event marketing, financial reporting, project planning, event bidding and consumer behaviour - all of which are covered by this course. We have a foundation year option for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course. This additional year of study will give you a grounding in the business and management skills required for this course, building your confidence, knowledge and skills for further study. After successful completion of the foundation year, you will progress to the full degree.

Modules

During the foundation year, you will study the following units: Fundamentals of Business & Management, Academic & Professional Practice and Fusion Business Project. In Year 1, as part of your degree you will study: Event Business, Economics for Events Professionals, Event & Experiential Marketing, Event Design, Creativity & Innovation and Critical Studies in Events.
