After the first year, you can either stay on this programme or switch to Economics or Financial Economics or remain on this Business Economics programme. – You’ll have the option to study abroad at one of our partner universities.. About this course This course has a unique pluralistic approach. You’ll examine a wide variety of economic thoughts and theories, learning to understand and address problems from a range of perspectives. You’ll study the aims, methods and outcomes of production and businesses, consider both the limitations and possibilities of markets and address the many economic factors that affect businesses and the decisions they make. This course focuses on the real-life application of economics. You’ll use industry-standard IT facilities, gaining the expertise that is highly valued by employers. You’ll develop analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills. Sandwich Year This course has a sandwich year which takes place between Year 2 and your Final Year. During this sandwich year you will take a placement within a relevant setting, ensuring you gain essential experience to add to your CV and help you secure a graduate job.
