This programme will suit students who are working or who wish to work in the computing industry. Computers are fundamental to many industries and you will develop skills in many fields. This course is run in partnership with Pearson.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - PPP
GCSE/National 4/National 5
Learners must be at least 18 years of age, and hold the following qualifications: 2 A Levels at E Grade or PP/PPP profile from BTEC Level 3 qualification and 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, to include English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications). Mature learners who do not have formal qualifications at Level 3, but can demonstrate relevant work experience in, and/or achievement of, a range of professional qualifications in computing or ICT, are also welcome to apply. Entry criteria detail a typical offer but the College considers all applications on an individual basis which means that we could make offers based on qualifications, personal profile and experience.
