Course summary

Our Artificial Intelligence course will help you develop the skills and knowledge necessary to work at the cutting edge of AI. We have developed this course to meet the needs of the real world. Our staff are all researchers with strong links to industry. Several of our research groups have excellent international and national reputations. And we have modern, state-of-the-art workshops, laboratories, computer facilities and media studios. You will study:

An optional work placement provides valuable real-world experience. So you could spend a year working in industry on a paid placement. You will graduate with a deep understanding of AI. And the knowledge of how to implement novel technological solutions for real world problems. Exciting career options include:

During your placement there is a fee which is paid to the university. It covers the cost of your placement tutor, and the support we provide whilst looking for a placement position and during your placement role.
