Course summary

If you are resident in England and not currently working in a healthcare role, we offer a Health Education England (HEE) blended learning route to our BSc (Honours) Nursing (Adult) in partnership with the University of the West of England. This route allows you to apply directly to The Open University to study our BSc (Honours) Nursing (Adult) without the requirement of employer sponsorship and takes 3 years to complete. You will study with the OU and benefit from our expertise in designing and providing high quality online learning resources. As a linked student with the University of the West of England, you'll have the exciting opportunity to perform simulation experiences and local placements that will support your practice experience. Successful completion of your degree through this route will result in your eligibility to apply for registration as a qualified nurse (adult) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
