Course summary

We are seeking accreditation for this course to be a HTQ. The course is delivered through a multidisciplinary approach where a range of topics are taught by a range of health and social care professionals (eg nurses, allied health practitioners, social workers etc) which means the learning will benefit from expert knowledge from those with real experience of working in the health and social care sector. This course provides learners the opportunity to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to enable them to perform the screening and assessing of individuals for eligibility to continuing healthcare packages in line with the National Framework for Continuing Healthcare, related legislation and policy. To support this assessment work, learners will need to be able to undertake analysis, interpretation and evaluation of evidence from multiple health and social care professionals caring for the individual. This course provides an understanding of areas such as managing and evaluating care provision as well as working in integrated teams and elements of related leadership.
