BSc Marketing with Foundation Year is an exciting and dynamic course that combines elements of marketing & consumer behaviour, digital marketing, strategic marketing, planning, psychology, management and human resources. Taught by accredited and renowned marketing experts, over the course of the degree you will develop a firm knowledge of external influences on the marketing world and the rapidly changing use of information technology and digital media for marketing purposes. Aberystwyth University is an accredited Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Graduate Gateway Centre, which means that you can study towards a professional CIM qualification while studying for a degree, or gain exemptions for certain CIM modules in the future. The integrated foundation year - designed for prospective students who do not have a sufficient or relevant academic background - is the perfect option to access this highly-sort scheme. In the Foundation Year, you will learn about key concepts for Marketing from an inter-disciplinary angle, giving you a unique experience and critical perspective to make the most of the full undergraduate degree. Access to HE Diploma
Available to those who are studying for, or who have completed Level 3 qualifications (eg, A-Levels or BTEC diploma) and to mature-aged candidates without formal qualifications who have suitable background education, experience and motivation. Applicants are selected on their individual merits and offers can vary. A minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent) English or Welsh is a requirement for entry to all our degree schemes. Business, Mathematics, Psychology and Science degree schemes also require a minimum grade C or grade 4 pass in GCSE (or equivalent).
