About this course How do we ensure new drugs are safe for the public, correctly evaluated and their use properly regulated? Regulatory Affairs is an area of growing opportunity in the pharmaceutical industry. This course focuses on public health and the introduction of drugs. You’ll learn to produce legal applications for new drug licences, deal with different regulatory authorities and ensure drug safety. The course also offers a practical understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. You’ll explore different sources of medicine, how they work and how they’re made, packaged and administered. Future Skills Embedded within every course curriculum and throughout the whole Kingston experience, Future Skills will play a role in shaping you to become a future-proof graduate, providing you with the skills most valued by employers such as problem-solving, digital competency, and adaptability. As you progress through your degree, you'll learn to navigate, explore and apply these graduate skills, learning to demonstrate and articulate to employers how future skills give you the edge. Assessment method

Teaching include lectures, workshops, tutorials and practical classes. Students will learn how to work in groups as well as undertake independent, self-directed learning. Many teaching sessions are interactive using student response technology (""clickers"")  and flipped lecture scenarios. Assessment typically comprises of exams and coursework (eg practical work, in-course tests, assignments and essays). A wide range of  assessment methods are used so that students graduating from this programme are able to communicate effectively in both oral and written modes of communication.

Qualification requirements

T Levels T Levels are an alternative to A levels, apprenticeships and other further education courses. T Level focuses on vocational skills and can help students into skilled employment, higher education and/or apprenticeships. Students who study T Level spend 80% of the course in the classroom, learning the skills that employers need. The other 20% is a meaningful industry placement, where they put these skills into action. T Levels are the equivalent to three A levels and we recognise the UCAS tariff points they attract in line with other qualifications that aid progression to higher education.
