This degree will provide key insights into such questions and many more as we educate you for a future as an excellent and inspiring manager. At ULSB, our courses offer you a comprehensive insight into a broad range of subjects including management, marketing, human resource management, business ethics and innovation. Our degrees provide opportunities for professional development and will give you the skills to overcome contemporary managerial challenges with innovative and analytical decision-making. Our Business and Management BA offers you a programme of learning which will expose you to the realities of management and the managerial experience in a variety of contexts. The course covers the relevance of both management theory and practice for the solution of problems in international, national and local arenas and in the private and public sectors. You will be provided with an educational experience which both complements and challenges accepted thinking, norms and perceptions in business and management. All of our management degrees are dual accredited with ILM, the UK's leading Leadership and Management Awarding Organisation. This means you can gain ILM's Level 4 Award in Leadership and Management subject to passing the relevant modules. The first year of this degree is shared with the following degrees: Human Resource Management BA Marketing BA This means that you will have the option to switch to any of our business management BA degrees at the end of your first year. Our courses will provide you with an in-depth understanding of contemporary management techniques, and will allow you to develop the skills to become an effective and socially responsible manager in local and global arenas, whether in public, private or third sector organisations and enterprises.

Additional fee information

The tuition fee for home students is reviewed annually and for the academic year 2024/5 it is £9,250. The fees for following years have not yet been decided but are likely to increase each year in line with inflation, subject to government regulations. The inflation rate used will be RPIX, which includes all the items in the Retail Price Index, excluding mortgage payments. For your information, the inflation rate used by the Government when increasing the tuition fee from £9,000 to £9,250 was 2.8%.
