Public Sector Leadership (Crime, Strategy & International Relations) at City College Norwich (incorporating Easton College) - UCAS

Course summary

There is around 5.72 million people who work in the wider public sector, not including the millions more in private or charitable organisations who work with the Public sector on a daily basis. Numerous government agencies, including the armed forces, police and NHS, continue to rely heavily on university graduates and plan to increase their recruitment in the coming years. The BA (Hons) Public Sector Leadership (and associated pathways) course is designed for students who wish to enter either the public sector, the armed forces or the blue light services. The course is also suitable for those with an interest in leadership, policy and transnational politics and wish to further their interest in these areas, and prepares students well for a range of further postgraduate education opportunities both in the UK and abroad. Students will be exposed to, and discover, a range of themes during the course, including community leadership, criminology, and global security and human rights issues, and will be equipped with the knowledge, lateral thinking and analytical skills required to enter a broad range of careers. All students will initially be enrolled on the BA (Hons) Public Sector Leadership (Crime, Strategy, and International Relations) pathway, with the option, subject to sufficient demand, to transfer onto either the BA (Hons) Public Sector Leadership (Crime and Policing) or BA (Hons) Public Sector Leadership (Management and Strategy). The honours degrees and foundation degrees offered at City College Norwich are awarded by the University of East Anglia (UEA) with whom we enjoy Associate College Status. This partnership means that you will graduate with a UEA degree and be able to access facilities at the UEA while you are studying with us.
