Students will examine multiple theoretical perspectives. Cognitive skills will be developed through the use of a range of teaching materials and strategies including multi-media tasks (incorporating video and internet-based research) and tutor and student led discussions and activities. Classroom based group research and response exercises (these also incorporate group work and discussion) will also be focused on, ultimately allowing for tutor feedback and input if deemed necessary or requested. Additional tutor feedback outside of the classroom will assist in the cultivation of these skills. Student-centred activities that incorporate aspects of research and group work will also be used within seminars, allowing for students’ understanding to be constructed collaboratively and in accordance with real-world scenarios. This will be a full time programme, however the timetable is planned for delivery over 2 days maximum 3 days. This will include class room based teaching sessions and some online sessions
