Course summary

Students will gain a wide range of coaching knowledge linked to practical skills gained through research, independent study, directed study and workplace scenarios. Students are involved in vocational activities that help them to develop behaviours (the attitudes and approaches required for a competence) and transferable skills. Transferable skills are those such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis, which are highly valued in higher education and the workplace. Assessment method

Throughout the programme, progress will be assessed in all areas via assignments, practical work, projects, and other activities. There will be an emphasis on your personal commitment to learning and you will be guided through enhancing your research and cognitive skills through projects you manage yourself. All units are assessed and graded as a Pass, Merit or Distinction.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)
