Course summary

With this degree, you’ll become a confident user and manager of information technologies, able to administer and manage network or database systems and develop software solutions. Computing and IT skills have become fundamental to the way we live, work, socialise and play. They can open the world of technology and an array of exciting career opportunities. This degree will teach you the principles of hardware-based, software-based, or systems-based technologies. You’ll be able to apply your knowledge and skills in a broad range of industries and organisations. Key features of the course

Modules

This degree has three stages, each comprising 120 credits. You’ll start Stage 1 with three 30-credit computing and IT modules and a 30-credit mathematics module. In Stages 2 and 3, the modules you’ll study will be determined by the route you choose.
