Course summary

This degree combines computing & IT and psychology to help you examine issues such as the social impact of computing & IT developments. You’ll divide your time equally between the computing & IT modules and the psychology modules. You’ll learn how psychological research addresses real-life issues. For example, how psychology has both learned from and informed the development of artificial intelligence and how people interact in online environments. This will complement the skills and knowledge you’ll develop in computing & IT. And you’ll pick a computing & IT focus that fits your needs and interests. Combining the study of these popular and important disciplines will equip you for a wide range of possible careers. Key features of the course

Modules

This degree has three stages, each comprising 120 credits. You’ll start Stage 1 with two 30-credit computing & IT modules followed by a 60-credit psychology module. Next, in Stage 2, you’ll study 60 credits in a specific area of computing & IT and follow this with a second 60-credit psychology module. Finally, in Stage 3, you’ll study a further 30 credits in computing & IT, plus another 60-credit psychology module. You’ll conclude Stage 3 with a 30-credit computing & IT project module.
