Assessment method
To cater for the wide-ranging content of our courses and the varied learning preferences of our students, we offer a range of assessment methods on each programme. Assessment techniques vary from module to module to reflect relevant assessment approaches and the key learning points of each topic. Your progress will be assessed through practical reports, posters, exams, presentations, blogs and podcasts.
Qualified teacher status (QTS)
To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:

Entry requirements
You will need: a minimum 2.1 or above in a relevant scientific discipline, such as Psychology, Biology, Zoology, Neurobiology/Neuroscience or Animal Behaviour. Must achieve a 60% or above pass mark in final year research project or equivalent professional qualifications and experience Additional information International students will require an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with at least 5.5 in each component.
