The course gives students the widest possible grounding in International Travel & Tourism Management, and the ability to progress to either university to extend their learning within the Travel & Tourism industry, or employment. Who is the course suitable for? Those that want to pursue a career in the Travel and Tourism industry, Aviation, or Events Management, that have completed a Level 3 qualification. Those that are currently working in the industry and want to gain a higher qualification. Entry requirements 64 UCAS points Course overview You will study approximately 8 units per year on the HNC course, all closely related to the industry you have chosen to pursue your career in. In the HND year (Year 2), you have the option to follow 2 different pathways, Aviation Operation or Events Management, this decision is made at the start of Year 2. The qualification prepares learners for employment in the Travel & Tourism sector and will be suitable for learners who have already decided that they wish to enter this area of work. Some adult learners may wish to make the commitment required by this qualification in order to enter a specialist area of employment in the Travel & Tourism sector or progress to higher education. Other learners may want to extend the specialism that they followed on the Pearson BTEC Level 4 HNC Diploma programme.
