The MPhil in Management is a full-time, pre-experience programme designed for students who have not previously studied business or management and who wish to pursue a professional career in business. Modules

The core of the MPhil in Management is grounded in the latest advances in business and management theory and practice, and covers quantitative methods, accounting, organisational behaviour and analysis, and marketing (foundation); business economics, finance, and strategy (consolidation), operations management and the Management Consulting Project (implementation). This is complemented by a range of electives aligned to potential careers in management. Assessment method

Each course carries the same weighting towards the final mark. A wide range of assessment strategies are used, including examination, assignments, case studies, presentations and coursework. All core courses (except the Management Consulting Project) are assessed primarily by an individual University examination, which may be complemented with other types of assessments among those mentioned above.

Entry requirements

A first Class Honours degree in a subject other than business or management.This is a pre-experience programme. Applicants should have no more than a year of work experience (excluding vacation employment and internships during the course of their undergraduate degree).Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have IELTS minimum overall score of 7.5, with not less than 7.0 in each element; or TOEFL 110, with not less than 25 in each element.
