Taught at The MGA Academy of Performing Arts, Edinburgh, this is an intensively taught, vocational training in Acting, designed to develop individuals who are highly skilled, adaptable, and autonomous in their approach. This is a course that has high contact hours where you'll work with experienced lecturers and relevant industry professionals. This three-year degree in Acting is designed to empower you with the skills, knowledge and creative autonomy to gain and maintain a lasting career as a professional actor. MGA delivers a personal approach which constantly develops to reflect current industry standards. Alongside core disciplines in voice, movement and acting techniques, you'll perform in a variety of genres and styles. You'll engage in skills classes to prepare you to work in recorded media, including training for voiceover, self-taping and acting for camera. There's also an emphasis on making your own work though our actor-creator projects. You'll train in our purpose-built studios, alongside other trainee performers from all over the world and across several disciplines. This, linked with our industry relevant staff and contacts, provides you with the environment, the tools, and the inspiration to thrive in a career of acting. Taught at MGA Academy of Performing Arts in Edinburgh.

Year 1 is focused on the development of the technical and intellectual skill required for Acting. You'll study the following modules:

Year 2 is focused on building on the skills developed in Year 1 and developing integrated performance skills.
