Course summary
The Professional Practice in Creative Media Industries Masters is a fully online programme and offers early or mid-career creative media professionals the opportunity to critically reflect on and evaluate their existing high-level knowledge and skills. This unique online Masters programme covers critical understanding of theory, project research, theoretical and practical elements in creative media, a deeper understanding of your practice, and analytical and communication skills. It is designed to help practitioners consolidate their creative identity by designing and realising an original and personal research project.

Assessment method
Module 5 - Creative Media Major Project Your Creative Media Major Project serves as the pinnacle of the entire MA/MSc and constitutes an important developmental focus throughout the course. Your Learning Advisor will triangulate your needs alongside that of the programme and future employers; in doing so, a number of high-level transferable skills are developed. In addition to completing the project itself in Module 5, you are required to write a substantial reflective and self-critical report and to create a live or recorded presentation. Your work must be of demonstrable relevance and importance to future professional practice within the creative media industries.
Qualified teacher status (QTS)
To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:

International applicants
The MA/MSc Professional Practice (Creative Media Industries) is open globally to applicants. Only applicants from the UK and EEA countries may be eligible for the UK Government Postgraduate funding.
Entry requirements
You will be proficient in the language of instruction: MPP Online - English You will also have either: a Bachelor's degree with Honours (second class or higher) in a relevant field, and up to one years professional creative industry experience or: at least five years’ professional creative industry experience.
