Assessment method
You can gain practical skills and hands-on experience using a wide range of experimental techniques and instrumentation. You’ll spend the third year in industry, learning more about chemistry in the real world and undertaking an industrially relevant research project. The final year includes advanced topics in chemistry and a substantial research project in one of the areas of expertise within the department, which include medicinal and synthetic chemistry, catalysis, supramolecular chemistry, and forensic science.
