Entering the Acting profession as a working stage and screen actor requires high-level skills and knowledge, which the BA (Hons) Acting programme at the University of Northampton is designed to help you develop. All modules are compulsory as they work together as a cohesive and holistic creative actor-training programme. STAGE 2: • Media Acting • Working with a Director • Vocal Technique for Actors 2 • Acting Methodologies 2 • Actors Body & Movement 2. STAGE 3: • Acting Methodologies 3 • Negotiated Project • Industry Preparation • Vocal Technique for Actors 3 • Actors Body & Movement 3. Module information is quoted for 22/23 entry. Please note that modules run subject to student numbers and staff availability, any changes will be communicated to applicants accordingly.

Assessment method

The course is mainly assessed through practical work, performances and presentations, worth 80% of your final grade, but there is some written work in the form of journals and industry relevant tasks such as character studies and funding applications, worth 20% of your final grade.
