The course Through Chemistry we can tackle the energy crisis, discover new medicines or develop new materials for 21st century needs. Delivered by one of the UK's top Chemistry departments, ranked highly for both teaching and research, our MChem degree provides a comprehensive study of the subject. Years One and Two will set you up with a solid foundation in the subject. Core modules in Years Three and Four, and extended laboratory work, will give you a broader and deeper understanding. You will also be able to choose optional modules to tailor your degree to your interests. In Year Four you will complete an individual investigative project on a topic that reflects your passion. You can also select optional modules to support your research or broaden your knowledge.
